Could The Howard Frankland Bridge Be Losing A ‘Free’ Lane? – Tampa Car Accident Attorney
The Florida Department of Transportation wants to turn one of the lanes on the Howard Frankland Bridge into an “express” lane. The toll will fluctuate its price depending on the traffic at that time of day and could be as high as $6.00 as some points. This could cause more congestion for those who are unwilling to pay the toll, and add to a longer commute for many who cross the bridge on a daily basis for work.
If you would like to voice your concerns the FDOT will be holding public hearings on the issue. One meeting will be October 4th at the Hilton St. Pete Carillon Park and the other will be October 6th at the Tampa Marriott Westshore. The meetings will begin at 5:30 pm.
